1/2 Primary and Secondary colours

We have been playing a colour game to test our knowledge of Secondary colours. Miss Sharp says two Primary colours and we have to work out what Secondary colour it is. If it’s Purple we put our hands on our head. If it’s Green we stand like a star shape and if it’s Orange we curl up in a ball. Sometimes she tries to trick us. We are getting pretty good at the Colour Game.

Finishing Funky Feet 3/4B

IMG_2464

Today we were working on finishing our fancy feet pictures in art.  We traced our feet and painted them, using the primary colors and drew patterns in the background. We also had to have at least 20 patterns, but did not have to colour them in. One of Jai’s patterns looked like waves and one of Jess’ ones looked like eyeballs.

Fancy Footwork 3/4B

IMG_2227 IMG_2231 IMG_2233

In art 3/4B are making foot paintings. We started by drawing we had to draw with pencils and after we had drawn our feet we had to paint them using blue, red and yellow (the Primary colours) they made green, orange and purple (Secondary colours).

Then we let our paintings dry and when it was dry we got to use fine liner and trace all our feet. We drew patterns in the background.
