Patterned Hands by 1/2S and 1/2TJ

Today we made hands and I put heaps of detail. I did about twenty different patterns. The best pattern was a spiderweb.

Today we made some hands. We put as much detail in it and Miss Sharp said that 1/2TJ had nearly the best detail in the school. I like mine because there are lots of patterns and I didn’t think I could have made that many J

I put a lot of effort into my artwork. I made a little cat I’ve named it Puss in Boots. This was one of the patterns on my hands. I’m happy with my effort today.

I repeated the pattern on both of my hands and I did a flower on my hands. I repeated the pattern on all of my fingers. I’m outlining it. It’s got lots of detail on it.

We are all doing hands. We traced around our hands and we are doing cool patterns on them now. I’ve done some zig-zags and some flowers on mine. At the tips of the fingers I drew some fire.

I’ve done patterns on my hands they are skulls, spiders, zig-zags and smoke. I’m working well to get mine finished.

We have traced our feet and painted them. Paige is doing love hearts and Tylah is doing crosses. Everyone is doing different patterns. Now we are doing patterned backgrounds.

Finishing Funky Feet 3/4B

Today we were working on finishing our fancy feet pictures in art.  We traced our feet and painted them, using the primary colors and drew patterns in the background. We also had to have at least 20 patterns, but did not have to colour them in. One of Jai’s patterns looked like waves and one of Jess’ ones looked like eyeballs.

3/4FJ Fancy Feet

We have been working on fancy feet, it’s an artwork exploring pattern and colours. We used Primary colours to paint the feet but created Secondary colours where the colours overlapped. Before we could paint the feet we had to trace around them. we took our shoe off and had to put at least 6 feet on our page. After painting them we have outlined the feet and used black markers to create patterns in the background.

Fancy Footwork 3/4B

IMG_2227 IMG_2231 IMG_2233

In art 3/4B are making foot paintings. We started by drawing we had to draw with pencils and after we had drawn our feet we had to paint them using blue, red and yellow (the Primary colours) they made green, orange and purple (Secondary colours).

Then we let our paintings dry and when it was dry we got to use fine liner and trace all our feet. We drew patterns in the background.

5/6C’s Zentangling

Over the past Term 5/6C have been working on a very an interesting art topic called Zentangling.

Students have enjoyed the patterns that they come up with.

Zentangling is when you draw an outline and draw patterns.

You can use an outliner to outline the photo so it becomes clear. As a 5/6 group we have came up with over 75 different patterns. We never thought that we would come up with so many patterns but we have came up with a gizillion patterns each.
